2024 has been quite tough for actress Hina Khan as she faced many challenges due to her fight against stage three breast cancer. The actress has grabbed her name in the top searched actors of 2024 but she is not proud of that.
Hina Khan posted a screenshot of the news on her Instagram story, mentioning that this recognition didn’t fill her with pride or happiness. In her touching note, she wrote, “I see a lot of people putting up stories and congratulating me on this new development. But honestly, for me, it’s neither an achievement nor something to be proud of.”
“I pray that no one should be googled because of their diagnosis or health-related hardships. I have always appreciated people’s genuine regard and respect for my journey in these testing times,” the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress said.
“I would rather be googled or known or acknowledged for my work or achievements. Just like I have been before and during my diagnosis,” concluded Hina.

The actress wrote, “The last 15-20 days have been the toughest for me in this journey, both physically and mentally. The scars did come, and I gave my all to face them without being scared. After all , how can I give in to the unimaginable physical limitations and psychological trauma I had to go through.. I FOUGHT it, and I still am..”
“To get through all the pain and much more, I have to find the balance to continue the cycle of positivity with deliberate smiles in the hopes that real joy would naturally follow. And it did,” she shared.
Hina added, “Life doesn’t simply go on just by saying it does; we need to make that choice, irrespective of the circumstances, every day, over and over again. Hope you get similar strength to fight the battles you face in your life. Hope we all remain victorious!”
